SEX and the CITY

Every month we hold a youth fellowship, where we discuss how we can grow more spiritually, where we have the opportunity not only to learn more, but also to have fun. The theme of the month of November was "Sex and the City" , where we learned about the real meaning of sex. This was a very interesting topic...

What is Sex anyway?? When I looked it up in the dictionary, sex is defined as a designation, whether male or female, according to a person's role in reproduction. It also said that sex is a sexual activity or behavior. But when I looked in the Bible, sex is said to be a gift given by God that can only be enjoyed by married people. Sex is a wonderful thing but becomes a sin if we do it outside marriage. Married people enjoy this pleasure because they know that this is a gift God gave them. Why do people engage in premarital sex?

REASONS WHY PEOPLE ENGAGE IN IT: (1) They therefore want to have a feel of it and prove to their friends out there that they are also experienced in the act. (2) They believe that they need to acquire sexual experience, train it sufficiently so that their husbands can appreciate them in bed.

"Premarital sexual relationships are strongly condemned in both the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible. Therefore, Christians who engage in premarital sex are breaking God's laws and are not following Jesus Christ. Under such practices, God is not honored, and both yours and your partner's walk with Christ is hampered. In addition, one's witness for Jesus is nullified, since even non-believers know that living together before marriage is not what a Christian should do. If you are involved in this kind of relationship, you need to repent and start living according to biblical standards. It is not okay for a Christian to keep living a sinful lifestyle, including sexual intimacy before marriage." - http://www.godandscience.org/doctrine/fornication.htmle.org/doctrine/fornication.html

BENEFITS OF WAITING

-> God will be pleased.

-> Your parents will be happy.

-> You will be safe from unnecessary pain

DISADVANTAGES OF NOT WAITING

-> You'll miss out on the wonderful plan of God.

-> Sadly, you'll experience pain and consequences of your decision.

-> Dreams can be shattered.

It's sad to see that many of our youths have engaged in this and have allowed it to destroy their lives and dreams. In life, sometimes we look for something that we think will complete us and let us feel accepted, Sadly, some people get involved with premarital sex and other immortal activities. As Christians we need to stay pure and learn to wait for the right time and right person, because it is a blessing to find someone with whom you can spend your whole life.

TO EVERY GUY

“We are a Dying Breed”
To every guy that has said, “You’re beautiful.”
To every guy that has said, “Sex CAN wait.”
To every guy that was never too busy to drive across town to see her.
To every guy that gives flowers and a card.
To every guy who has given her flowers just because.
To every guy that said he would die for her.
To every guy that really would.
To every guy that did what she wanted to do.
To every guy that cried in front of her.
To every guy that she cried in front of.
To every guy that holds hands with her.
To every guy that hugs her when she’s sad.
To every guy that hugs her for no reason at all.
To every guy who would give their jacket up for her.
To every guy that calls(or texts) to make sure she got home safe.
To every guy that would sit and wait for her for hours just to see her for ten minutes.
To every guy that would give his seat up.
To every guy that just wants to cuddle.
To every guy that reassured her that she was beautiful no matter what.
To every guy who told his secrets to her.
To every guy that tried to show how much he cared through every word and every breath.
To every guy that thought maybe this could be the one.
To every guy that believed in her dreams.
To every guy that would have done anything so she could achieve them.
To every guy that never laughed at her when she told him her dreams.
To every guy that walked her to her house.
To every guy that gave his heart.
To every guy who prays that she is happy even if he is not with her.
To every guy who is willing to wait for years just to prove his love for her.

To every guy who still prioritizes God instead of making the girl as the sun of his life.

…This one bulletin post is for you…
Not many girls appreciate nice guys anymore… And because of this, there are not many left out there… I guarantee 90% of the men on your page will not repost this because they care more about their image.

Praise and Worship - A Natural Desire

Praise and Worship seems to be universal. Have you ever heard of an explorer finding a new tribe or culture that doesn't worship? Worship is a natural instinct and a basic need for every person. A simple definition of worship is to regard with great devotion or to honor as a divine being. Take a second to think about what you are most devoted to in this life and ask yourself, "Is it worthy of my devotion; do I worship a divine being?"

We don't all worship the same God, but everyone worships something or someone. Since we all worship, we should question the reason for this desire. The most logical conclusion is that we were created by a higher being for the very purpose of worship.

The ongoing quest of man is to find answers to the fundamental questions of human origin, human nature, and human destiny. There is one book that has the answers to all these questions, including our questions about worship. The Bible is the wonderful and mysterious book that God has chosen as a way to communicate with us.

God is the focus of our devotion in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. In Exodus 20:2-3, God says, "I am the LORD your God .....You shall have no other gods before me." In Matthew 4:10, Jesus says, "Worship the Lord your God and serve him only." So, worship is not merely a natural instinct, it's a command from God.

Praise and Worship - Why Should We do it?

God alone is worthy of our devotion, praise and worship. He is God, our Creator, and we are commanded to praise and worship Him. Psalm 96:9 says, "Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth." Psalm 29:2 says, "Give unto the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness."

A.W. Tozer said, "Without worship, we go about miserable." God doesn't want us to be miserable -- He has a perfect plan for our lives. He has done so many things to show us that He loves us and doesn't want us to be miserable. He wants us to have hope for a future with Him --he wants us to have eternal life in heaven with Him.

A life of praise and worship fills our deepest needs, and amazingly, it also brings great joy to God. Zephaniah 3:17 states, "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."

Praise and Worship - How Do We do it?

God tells us how to praise and worship him in His Word. John 4:23 says, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks." In order to worship God in truth, we need to know that Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." So, before you can worship in the way that God desires, you have to develop a relationship with Him through faith in Jesus, His Son.

The best way that we can praise and worship God is with our every thought and action. Romans 12:1-2 states, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God -- this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Praise and Worship - Love from the Heart

Many people think that praise and worship is only singing songs at church, but it is so much more! It is also a condition of your heart -- a willingness to exalt God and yield to his will. Worship is an expression of love and awe to the God who gives us more than we deserve. Whether you express your worship by singing, playing music, dancing or in some other way, remember that you are called to worship God with your every action, every day of your life. God is holy, loving, and worthy of all our worship and devotion.

"Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." (Deut. 6:5)

- Delight yourself always in God's goodness by sharing the unfailing love of our Lord Jesus Christ to the lost souls.

DON'T GIVE UP HOPE

When the path ahead is dark and you're feeling all alone.
Don't give up hope. I have not left.
Believe and come on home!

I love you, child. I'm always there. I'll never leave your side.
Trust your heart. Be not afraid.
Let me dry the tears you've cried.

Your past is gone. Let go the pain. I made this day for you.
Behind the clouds a rainbow waits.
Hold on I'll see you through.

Love each day. Laugh each day. The sun will shine again.
The pain is there to help you grow -
Now let this day begin!

- This poem made by someone else was really inspiring. I wasn't able to see the author but whoever (s)he is, thank you. This poem makes sense. People who lost their hope and asking God for any chances, this message is for you. We must always remember that, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD. Sometimes we are questioning God "why it's happening to us" but behind this question there is a revelation from Him that we have to know and realize. Whatever situations you may have now, just put in yourself this words "I believe and trust you God with all my heart, with all my soul." And claim some verses in the bible like this:

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10"

Hold on to the verse/s you had chosen and every time you talk to Him in prayer, INCLUDE it. I'm always doing this, that's why I'm sharing it with you. The Holy Spirit is moving in my life, I feel it everyday! I had so many answered prayers were granted, just in few days or weeks and that's the best thing ever happened in my life. God knows what is in your heart. NEVER STOP COMMUNICATING WITH HIM. REPENT. BE SINCERE. HAVE FAITH. BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD.

God's love,

God's Plan For Your Family

Message from: Mhel Perez (Head, Youth Ministry and Special Events)

When was the last time you uttered the words...I love my family?? I believe that the most important thing in our lives, aside from God, is our family. Our family has the greatest influence on us. If you are a parent, nothing affetcs you more than your children, their successes, their despairs If you are a child, it concerns you when the relationships at home are not working well. These things affects us very much. When people are wounded in a family, it leaves a scar that last a long time because hurting people hurt others. However, God has a wonderful plan to heal wounded hearts and wounded families and take the scars away.

God's plan is to turn our hearts to our families...this is his promise in Malachi 4:6 "And he will turn the hearts to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse" When parents turn away from their children, and children turn their backs from their parents, it brings curse. God wants to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the hearts of the children to their parents. When those things happen there is a BLESSING! As God's children, let's activate this blessing and pass it on to the next generation...The Mighty Generation.

Our vision to see a born again city will be an easy task if we will continue to have spirit-filled families helping this vison come to pass.

We can get good benefits by means of understanding. Is it too much to ask for you? Alam mo kung anong sinasabi ko. Oo ikaw nga..at ikaw lang wala nang iba! Sana talaga nababasa mo 'to. Sabi nga sa message ni God sa akin, "That every little part of you is magical, even the parts that hurt. It's alright to love what is in pain. More than alright, that's exactly where your love is needed the most. So why not touch that part that hurts and smile at it, at yourself through it, and whisper: I love you." Sa totoo lang laging ganyan ang ginagawa ko "smile at it." God is always right because He is perfect.

Kung negative ang iniisip mo, you're wrong. I wrote this entry to express my random thoughts and feelings. And of course, it's my day and time for sharing! ♥♥

REALITY

If you need a place, in this reality
Just to be yourself, while everything seems awfully
To cry, to scream, to relief your heart
When you feel your world is falling apart

I will be right here, to wait and hope
And I will gently remove the rope
Which lies and tightens around your neck
Pull you away, and of course

I’ll check The light in your eyes is fading away
Turning black, turning cold, clearly with dismay
Your heart feels far away, gone to disappear
I want you to stay, I want you near

I smile at you, and try to remember
What it was like, no need to go further
Loneliness and sadness passing by
Hand in hand, with tears in the eye

Drowning in words, unnecessary pain
No need to describe, no need to complain
Your eyes are open, lightning once more
Watching, sparkling, just like before

I’ll hold you in my arms, hold you tight
Tell you, that we, together, have won this fight

Feeling lonely hard on woman's arteries

Feeling lonely is hard on a woman's arteries - It would seem that for some women, a lonely heart could actualy lead to heart damage, according to MSNBC. According to a new study, that forlorn feeling can lead to a nearly 80 percent increase in the risk of heart disease -- but only in females. Additional studies have revealed that depressed and people who are socially isolated have the greater risk for developing heart disease. Both of these factors can lead to stress, which can ultimately lead to heart disease, said the study's lead author. For some women, a lonely heart may lead to actual heart damage.

Rebecca C. Thurston - assistant professor of psychiatry and epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine - found, in a new study published in Psychosomatic Medicine, the loneliness link even after accounting for the women's level of depression and sociability. Other studies have shown that depressed and socially isolated people are at a greater risk for developing heart disease. “When it comes to loneliness, it’s not just how many friends you have, but also how supported you feel. You can have a lot of people around you and still feel lonely.” People feel lonely when they don’t have a sense of connectedness with their friends and families, experts say. Loneliness is related to how fulfilled we feel in our relationships. “We experience feelings of loneliness when we feel that what we’re getting from our relationships falls short of what we expect.”

Thurston wanted to focus on loneliness because "it's an especially negative and distressing emotion that many people experience." Thurston looked back over the years and found that the loneliest women at the start ended up 76 percent more likely than the other women to develop heart disease. She suspects that the link showed up only in women because they tend to be more concerned about relationship quality than men. Women also tend to be more distressed when relationships with spouses and friends aren’t as close as they hoped, she said. The new findings fall in line with other research showing that while any type of marriage can protect a man’s heart, a bad marriage can be harmful for a woman’s health, Thurston said.

(My insights) People should and need to be aware about this matter. It helps a lot to every individual to feed their mind and be reminded on how to response and consider mental and emotional health. 'Silent' heart attacks more deadly than thought. Rebecca made a professional study to know the reasons why people experiencing or having a heart-attacked problem. And now, I knew already that "loneliness" is one of the reasons why. And I really admired her for her fascinating thoughts and facts. I'm so glad that I had read this article and share it to you. This is a new learning not only for me but for all of us. I hope everybody will appreciate and keep this in their mind.

Thank you and God bless!

My BlogLog

Just promoting this site: http://www.mybloglog.com

Undergoing MyBlogLog Verification

For the second time around

(Inhale, Exhale) Here I go. For the second time around, my facebook account (http://www.facebook.com/ninzlimpiada) and twitter account (http://twitter.com/ninzjl) were hacked again and I wasn't able to retrieve it anymore! In short, those accounts I had mentioned were NOT MINE. OMG! (oh my gosh) I don't know why there's a lot of intruders are appearing in this world. I don't have any idea why they're doing that foolish thing and what are their intentions. What they can get from it? Whew. Inspite and despite of that shocking incident, I'm fully recovered. I don't want to make many social website accounts. This blog site of mine and new facebook account (my facebook profile badge was placed on the right side of my posts) are my verified social networking sites and it's fine to me and I'm contented with it. Be careful and don't trust anybody. Beware to the intruders and also to my dummies.

Thanks.

Things I can do today

Good day everyone! Tuesday morning blues? Have you ever had one of those days when you felt like you didn't want to have one of those days? There are things you can do today and everyday for the rest of your life. I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do before the clock strikes midnight. I have responsibilities to fulfill today. I am important. My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have.
  • Today I can complain because the weather is rainy, or I can be thankful that the climate is pretty good (for me) rather than experiencing the sweat on my body.
  • Today I can feel sad that I don't have more money, or I can be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my purchases wisely and guide me away from waste.
  • Today I can grumble about my foods for breakfast and lunch, or I can rejoice that I am blessed because I have foods to eat.
  • Today I can lament over all that my parents didn't give me when I was growing up, or I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be born.
  • Today I can cry because roses have thorns, or I can celebrate that thorns have roses.
  • Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework, or I can feel honored because I've been provided shelter for my mind and body.
  • Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped. And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping.
  • Today I can get upset and mad to someone, or I can be thankful because I have the freedom to express my feelings.
What today will be like is up to me. I get to choose what kind of day I will have. Have a great day unless you have other plans. The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything. But then again, life is not what happens. It's how we take it. As the Bible says, "Today is the day that the Lord has made, and I shall rejoice and be glad in it."

HACKED ACCOUNTS

Good day! But what's good for today? So annoying!! Anyway, I just like to inform you guys that all my social networking accounts including my friendster, twitter, facebook, yahoo mail, and multiply were hacked by someone. My Multiply (http://xxoocutie.multiply.com), Twitter (http://twitter.com/ninzexclusive ), Friendster (http://www.friendster.com/ninzlimpiada) THOSE ACCOUNTS ARE NOT MINE ANYMORE. But the good thing was I retrieved my accounts on yahoo mail, facebook account, and I made new account on twitter (http://twitter.com/ninzjl). However, retrieving all my accounts were not so easy to do huh but it gave me a big help though. This is just a reminder. So, beware my friends. If someone sent you a message or add you as a friend using those accounts that I mentioned above, don't pay any attention or lets just say IGNORE IT.

The Shoe Lady

A good and inspiring story written by Debra Galant. - Ranya Kelly's hunt began on a winter day in 1986 when she discovered 500 mostly brand-new pairs of shoes discarded behind a Payless Shoe Source store. She took them to Samaritan House, a Denver homeless shelter. There she spied a pregnant woman walking through the shelter in her stocking feet. Kelly asked the priest in-charge why she wasn't wearing shoes. "We don't have any to fit her," he answered. "His words changed my life." says Kelly. "I found out the retailers regularly throw away unsold merchandise to make room for new inventory. So I decided to redirect this garbage." She checked dumpsters for shoes and clothes. Along with handful of volunteers, she bagged the goods, then delivered them to shelters, churches and other organizations.

- I realized that the poverty level in our country keeps rising every year. There are people with needs out there. And then I opened my closet and I saw many clothes, bags, and shoes kept inside then untouched and unused, perhaps because the colors and the styles do not or no longer suit my fancy. I've been seeing some children walking on the streets without clothes to wear. Something must be wrong here. I think we need a lot more people like Ranya Kelly in this country, who have a heartfelt concern for the poor. Not the cheap politicians who pay lip service to the needy, but those who are willing to toil and labor for those who are in need. I think of churches that may want to put up soup kitchen and design programs to reach out for the needy neighbors. I think of fast food companies who may want to give their excess supply to the poor since they cannot use it for the next day anyway. There are so many things we can do; we just need a genuine tug in our hearts to start doing it. And as for the clothes, shoes, and bags in my closet, somebody else is using them now and that makes me very happy.

Pres. Cory Aquino

Good day readers! It's been a couple of week since I posted my entry here. Many circumstances are coming in to our country. People were focused on the death of Pres. Cory Aquino, landslide in Baguio were many people died, etc. But the highlight of my topic now is about Pres. Cory Aquino.

Maria Corazon "Cory" Cojuangco Aquino became the 11, following the peaceful 1986 People Power Revolution that astonished the world. Aquino was married to Senator Benigno Aquino, Jr., a leading figure in the political opposition against the autocratic rule of President Ferdinand Marcos, who was assassinated upon his return from exile on 21 August 1983. Having had no prior political experience, Cory Aquino nevertheless became the focal point around which the fractured political opposition finally unified. She was the lone candidate against Marcos during the 1986 snap presidential elections. Soon after Marcos’ proclamation as victor, despite widespread reports of , then Minister of National Defense Juan Ponce Enrile and Armed Force of the Philippines Vice Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Fidel Ramos, set in motion a long-planned coup against Marcos. The charismatic Archbishop of Manila, Jaime Cardinal Sin exhorted the predominantly Catholic populace to mass along EDSA (the main thoroughfare between Camps Aguinaldo and Crame) to support the rebel soldiers. Over the next four days almost 2 million unarmed civilians poured into the streets, heeding the call of Cardinal Sin. People the world over were amazed to see unarmed priests, nuns and ordinary men, women and children forming human chains, blockading loyalist military squadrons, preventing them from reaching the rebel soldiers at the Camps. They answered guns and tanks with prayers and flowers… succeeding in what became known as the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution.

Cory Aquino was proclaimed the 11th President of the Philippines on the 25th of February 1986, Asia ’s first female head of state. After completing her term in 1992, she continued to be an advocate of democracy, peace, women's empowerment, and religious. Lest we forget, Cory Aquino and our original people power inspired Yeltsin in Russia, Lech Walesa in Nelson Mandela in Africa ,Vaclav Havel of Czechoslovakia and the unsung heroes of Tiananmen Square. She began law studies in Far Eastern University but did not finish on account of her marriage to Ninoy Aquino. In 1987, she received an Honorary Degree in Civil Law from FEU. Cory Aquino died of cardiopulmonary arrest after complications of at the age of 76 on August 1, 2009.

- She's very proud to be a Filipino. It's worth dying for. She never turn down the Filipino people and inspite of her sickness, she proved to us that she never ever gave up when she knew that she had a colon cancer. However, she fight a good fight to finish her race.

KuyaKevin's blog - The Call Center Culture

I have several friends (including former students) that work in call centers here in Manila. Most of them make pretty good money--call centers probably offer the highest average salary of any other industry. But the relatively high salary comes at a price. You'll often hear call center employees refer to the physical and psychological impact of working the "graveyard shift." There's something that concerns me even more: the spiritual environment--the "call center culture." The following seems to be common among call center workers:

*Heavy drinking and smoking.

*Sexual immorality (homosexuality, cohabitation of non-married couples, promiscuity).

*Moral relativism (no sense of absolute truth).

*Wasting money instead of investing wisely.

*Disconnection from church/worship (in part due to the non-traditional work schedule).

Please don't get me wrong--I'm not saying all call center workers live ungodly lifestyles. What I've learned, in fact, has mostly come from Christians who are struggling to keep their faith in this toxic environment. I believe we (Christians) can do more to reach those working in the call center industry. Next month I'll be helping a church conduct a seminar for call center agents. It's a small step, but maybe it will be the beginning of something big.

. . . I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.
-1st Corinthians 9:22b

- I had seen this entry on my friendster and became curious. That is why, I visited kuya kevin's blogsite. Yes, Indeed! I have my friends working in call center, they said, they enjoyed working there and received great pay. I respected them naman..But for me, it's so hard to work in this kind of industry, you are required to work in morning and evening. We have different opinions naman regarding to this matter and it's up to them if they really want. We have the freedom to choose what is the best for us.

Pussycat Dolls Concert Live in Manila

The concert last night was really really awesome! (thumbs up) ^_^ The group lead vocalist, Nicole Scherzinger is half-Filipina, part-Russian and part-Hawaiian, but she said people think she's from Pakistan. Other members are Kimberly Wyat, Melody Thornton, Ashley Roberts and Jessica Suta. Although Jessica was not with them when they arrived for the concert because of her injury. The show must still go on. We headed in Mall of Asia at exactly 5:30 p.m but we ate first before we watch the concert. We heard on the news that many people are already there in the venue (early bird people) because the it's a first come first serve basis. My eldest sister wasn't able to go with us, that's why I gave my 2 extra tickets to my high school friends. The concert started at exactly 8 p.m and the Pinoy bands who started the show. At 9 p.m, Pussycat Dolls performed on stage and the fans started to party, screaming, yelling "wwhhoohh".

People kept on screaming when Nicole introduced herself but i didn't scream for her. I was supposed to scream for Ashley's name. :-) I could feel the rush of the energy coming from me and the fans! They sung more than 10 songs like I don't need a man, Beep, Wait a Minute, Don't Cha, Buttons, Halo, Hush Hush, and especially my 2 favorite songs ever, Stick with you and Jai Ho (really love these songs so much). It's worth it! I enjoyed the show so much. Thanks to my friends and to my sis 'coz i really loved your companies guys. Mwuah! And to my eldest sis, whom is my sponsor for all the concerts every now and then, thank you so much for the green passes. I hope more green passes for the next upcoming concerts. :) There was a fireworks after the show, I think it's already 10:15 p.m. Wooaahh! so crowded. People kept on saying "cover your mouth there's a swine flu, don't keep close to the people, keep distance.." Even me, I did it. hehe! Good thing for that is people were scared to have swine flu rather than ignoring it, right?

NEW RAPING TECHIQUE - PLs. inform all your girLfriends!

Hello, it's been a week since I posted my entry here. My friend sent me this message thru e-mail. Just want to share this to all girLs. I don't know if it's true or not but it's better to be alert and aware rather than you'll be innocent in this matter.

A woman in a bar on a Saturday night was taken by 5 men, who, according to hospital and police report, gang raped her before dumping her. Unable to remember the events of the evening, tests later confirmed the repeat rapes, along with traces of Rohypnol in her blood and Progesterex, essentially a small sterilization pill. The drug is now being used by rapists at parties to rape and sterilize their victims. Progesterex is available to vets to sterilize large animals. It is being used together with Rohypnol. the date rape drug. As with Rohypnol, all they have to do is drop it into the girL's drink. The girL can't remember a thing the next morning. of all that had taken place the night before.

Progesterex, which dissolves in drinks just as easily. is such that the victim doesn't get pregnant; she won't conceive from the rape and the rapist need not worry about having a paternity test identifying him months later. The drug's effects ARE NOT TEMPORARY - They are PERMANENT! Progesterex was designed to sterilize horses..Any female who takes it will NEVER BE ABLE TO CONCEIVE...The weasls can get this from anyone who is in the vet school or any university. It's that easy. and Progesterex is about to break out big on campuses everywhere. Believe it or not, there are even sites on the Internet telling people how to use it. Please forward this to everyone you know, especially girls... Be careful when you're out and don't leave your drink unattended.

Guys, inform all your female friends and relatives!

DON'T GIVE UP!

Thus your hope is in the Lord, or in this world?

The topic and message was really great. Our pastor discussed the Cause of downfall and he compare and described Christian people like an Eagle. I was so amazed with the message and touched with the story of Nick Vujicic, whom the man with no arms and legs. Watch his video before you read the passage.

"If I fail a hundred times and I give up, do you think I can get up?" - Nick Vujicic

iLLustration: Eagle/Ostrich

"Eagle is the King of Birds while the Ostrich is the heaviest and fastest living bird, but can't fly."

How to compare a Christian to an Eagle?

God never likened Himself or His Children to a turkey, and this is why we should seek to know and understand the life of the Eagle. Exodus 19:4, Ezekiel 1:10 and Psalms 91:4 reveals this truth. The word Eagle is mentioned some 32 times in the Bible. The number 32 in God's arithmetic means Covenant. God desires to reproduce Himself in us while showing us His Covenant through the hidden life of the Eagle. Eagles are the "King of Birds". They are ageless and an International symbol of strength, beauty, authority and freedom. For instance, Eagles can fly directly into the sun. When we as Eagle Christian begin to fall into trials and temptations, we too can fly directly into the Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Father of light and His light blinds the enemy! Another important characteristics is the Eagle's eyes. They are always wet. As an Eagle Christian, we know that the word of God ensures us in Psalms 126:5-6 that, "Those who sow in tears shall reap with songs of Joy." (Disciple's Study Bible) Eagles also have a preening gland. This is especially important in preparing for the day. From the previous day, the Eagle's feathers have been beaten from the wind. The preening gland is used in an hour process in which the feathers are ran through the mouth of the Eagle while breathing out to steam clean the feathers. This process is done in order to reshape and strengthen the feathers.

Causes of our downfall

Isaiah 40:30-31 " Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall. But those who HOPE in the LORD will renew their strenght."

Deceitfulness = grow tired

Opposing God = weary

Worldy Passion = stumble

Neglecting the word = fall

If we put our HOPE into this World...

V. 30 - Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall...

  1. Deceitfulness = grow tired (Mark 4:19)
  • grow tired - worries and desires

2. Opposing God = weary

"All of your clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." - 1 Peter 5:5b
  • Weary means opposes the proud.
3. Wordly Passion = stumble (Titus 2:12)

"It teaches us to say NO to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age."
  • Stumble is the ungodliness and worldly passions of people.
4. Neglecting God's words = fall (Matt 23:23)

"Woe to you, teaches of the Law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices - ...But you have neglected the important matters of the law - justice, mercy, and faithfulness."
  • fall = hypocrites pharisees/neglected words of God
Prov. 16:18 - Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

V. 31 - But those who HOPE in the LORD will renew their strenght.

HOPE means trust, expect, and faith. When you trust God you expect something from Him and when you expect something you have to have strong faith in Him so that He would listen to your prayers. That's the explanation of that.

When God renew our strength.
  1. We will soar on wings like eagles;
  • Soar high! Arise with a renewed spirit.
Psalms 103:5 - ..who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.

2. We will run and not grow weary,
  • Run means continue in serving God
3. We will walk and not be faint
  • Walk means become strong in faith. (2 Tim. 4:7)
"I have fought a good fight, have finished.'' WALK kept fought finished.

- IF WE'VE PUT OUR HOPE IN THE LORD, WE WILL SOAR ON WINGS LIKE EAGLES; WE WILL RUN AND NOT WEARY, WE WILL WALK AND NOT BE FAINT. -

THINKING ABOUT MY CAREER PATH

Lately, I've been busy for applying a job to different companies. Thinking about what is best for me, what I want, what would I be in the future. When I was in college, I have many plans for my career and I'm still praying for it.

Last week, someone called me about the career opportunity from US Company, he is Mr. Tanghal. He introduced their company in positive words and sentences that they are the direct competitor of Procter and Gamble..blah..blah..blah. Then, he told me the meeting time at 6:30 in the evening. When I heard that "kinabahan ako " 'coz i know that there is no fine company who set the time in the evening. I asked their company websites, profile, and complaining 'bout the meeting time but there was no reply. God reminded me to ask my classmates and friends to check the company and this person. After I received replies from the people i texted, I found out that it's a pyramding daw and got a warning messages. Pyramding is an organization I think. They will hire you as a recruiter and ask you a lot of money to contribute to their company. My friends were very concerned to me, they didn't want me to go and kept on warning me about this company. Thanks for that guys! : )

Thinking about my career path is easy for me 'coz I knew what I want. People kept on asking me.."Do you have work? What is your plan? When will you go with us in the Job Fair? What do you want for your career? When will you look for a job?" All of those questions got only one same answer, "I had my own plan and I know what I want.'' In the first place, hindi naman ako nagmamadali, I like to enjoy myself and bonding with my family muna while no work. Honestly, I'm not scared naman if I'm the last on the list who doesn't have work yet, for the reason that I already had the plan for my career. There is a saying in the Bible that, "First will be the last and the last will be the first." Hehe. All I could say is, I believe and trust God in everything, that's why, I'm not scared. :-)

Need to know about Swine Flu

Since I love blogging, searching, and reading in the net, I gave myself the chance to share what I had read on the news in internet and had seen on television about Swine flu. I am aware about the happenings inside and outside of the country even though sometimes I didn't watch, but my other option is to search in google or other friendly sites. As I watched last night the news about this topic, I heard that over 103 people were dead in this disease in the country of Mexico; 20 in the U.S.A; and 8 in the Spain. And this morning, as I was searching something in Yahoo site I've seen this news entitled "What you need to know about swine flu?"

WASHINGTON - A never-before-seen strain of swine flu has turned killer in
Mexico and is causing milder illness in the United States and elsewhere. While authorities say it's not time to panic, they are taking steps to stem the spread and also urging people to pay close attention to the latest health warnings and take their own precautions.

Here's what you need to know:

Q: How do I protect myself and my family?

A: For now, take commonsense precautions. Cover your coughs and sneezes, with a tissue that you throw away or by sneezing into your elbow rather than your hand. Wash hands frequently; if soap and water aren't available, hand gels can substitute. Stay home if you're sick and keep children home from school if they are.

Q: How easy is it to catch this virus?

A: Scientists don't yet know if it takes fairly close or prolonged contact with someone who's sick, or if it's more easily spread. But in general, flu viruses spread through uncovered coughs and sneezes or — and this is important — by touching your mouth or nose with unwashed hands. Flu viruses can live on surfaces for several hours, like a doorknob just touched by someone who sneezed into his hand.

Q: In Mexico, officials are handing out face masks. Do I need one?

A: The CDC says there's not good evidence that masks really help outside of health care settings. It's safer just to avoid close contact with someone who's sick and avoid crowded gatherings in places where swine flu is known to be spreading. But if you can't do that, CDC guidelines say it's OK to consider a mask — just don't let it substitute for good precautions.

Q: Is swine flu treatable?

A: Yes, with the flu drugs Tamiflu or Relenza, but not with two older flu medications.

Q: Is there enough?

A: Yes. The federal government has stockpiled enough of the drugs to treat 50 million people, and many states have additional stocks. As a precaution, the CDC has shipped a quarter of that supply to the states to keep on hand just in case the virus starts spreading more than it has so far.

Q: Should I take Tamiflu as a precaution if I'm not sick yet?

A: No. "What are you going to do with it, use it when you get a sniffle?" asks Dr. Marc Siegel of New York University Langone Medical Center and author of "Bird Flu: Everything you Need To Know About The Next Pandemic." Overusing antiviral drugs can help germs become resistant to them.

Q: How big is my risk?

A: For most people, very low. Outside of Mexico, so far clusters of illnesses seem related to Mexican travel. New York City's cluster, for instance, consists of students and family members at one school where some students came back ill from spring break in Mexico.

Q: Why are people dying in Mexico and not here?

A: That's a mystery. First, understand that no one really knows just how many people in Mexico are dying of this flu strain, or how many have it. Only a fraction of the suspected deaths have been tested and confirmed as swine flu, and some initially suspected cases were caused by something else.

Q: Should I cancel my planned trip to Mexico?

A: The U.S. did issue a travel advisory Monday discouraging nonessential travel there.

Q: What else is the U.S., or anyone else, doing to try to stop this virus?

A: The U.S. is beginning limited screening of travelers from Mexico, so that the obviously sick can be sent for treatment. Other governments have issued their own travel warnings and restrictions. Mexico is taking the biggest steps, closings that limit most crowded gatherings. In the U.S., communities with clusters of illness also may limit contact — New York closed the affected school for a few days, for example — so stay tuned to hear if your area eventually is affected.

Q: What are the symptoms?

A: They're similar to regular human flu — a fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people also have diarrhea and vomiting.

Q: How do I know if I should see a doctor? Maybe my symptoms are from something else — like pollen?

A: Health authorities say if you live in places where swine flu cases have been confirmed, or you recently traveled to Mexico, and you have flulike symptoms, ask your doctor if you need treatment or to be tested. Allergies won't cause a fever. And run-of-the-mill stomach bugs won't be accompanied by respiratory symptoms, notes Dr. Wayne Reynolds of Newport News, Va., spokesman for the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Q: Is there a vaccine to prevent this new infection?

A: No. And CDC's initial testing suggests that last winter's flu shot didn't offer any cross-protection.

Q: How long would it take to produce a vaccine?

A: A few months. The CDC has created what's called "seed stock" of the new virus that manufacturers would need to start production. But the government hasn't yet decided if the outbreak is bad enough to order that.

Q: What is swine flu?

A: Pigs spread their own strains of influenza and every so often people catch one, usually after contact with the animals. This new strain is a mix of pig viruses with some human and bird viruses. Unlike more typical swine flu, it is spreading person-to-person. A 1976 outbreak of another unusual swine flu at Fort Dix, N.J., prompted a problematic mass vaccination campaign, but that time the flu fizzled out.

Q: So is it safe to eat pork?

A: Yes. Swine influenza viruses don't spread through food.

Q: And whatever happened to bird flu? Wasn't that supposed to be the next pandemic?

A: Specialists have long warned that the issue is a never-before-seen strain that people have little if any natural immunity to, regardless of whether it seems to originate from a bird or a pig. Bird flu hasn't gone away; scientists are tracking it, too.

ATTITUDE is the crayon that colors our world

As I am searching and reading the book with full of wisdom and about attitude, God put on my mind the real essence of being a polite person, be a blessing to others, and share your learning’s. It talks about your ATTITUDE. A hypothetical construct represents an individual's degree of like or dislike for an item. Attitudes are judgments. They develop on the ABC model (affect, behavior, and cognition). When Jesus talks about attitudes to His friends, He told them how to be happy and have good attitudes. Jesus told them that they would be happy if they kept learning more and more about God. He told them that God loved them very much and He cared about all their needs. Jesus told them to help others and always do the right thing. He told the people that doing these things would make them happy. God wants us to have good attitudes and be happy too! Let’s ask God to help us love Him and love others. Let’s ask Him to help us always do the right thing.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

I certainly don't regret my experiences because without the people I love and love me, I couldn't imagine who or where I would be today. Life is an amazing gift to those who have overcome great obstacles, and attitude is everything!

My Graduation Day!

Hi everyone! I just came from my graduation held at the PICC (Philippine International Convention Center). So tiring, but still I'm so much thankful and happy that finally, i'm done with my degree course of Marketing Management..

I just want to thank God first for helping me and giving me strength to fulfill my dreams by using people to support my studies in a couple of years. My family, who inspire and support me in everything I do; my friends, who always there and never leave me alone; and to my special someone, who always make me smile and encourage me with what makes me happy.

It started at 4 p.m but we should be there at 2 p.m because that is the assembly time. More than 2 hours we've waited to come inside, my feet was almost throbbing. While we're waiting we had fun, took pictures, chatting with friends, schoolmates :-) It's nice and fun..hehe! My graduation was really exciting and happy but a little bit sad (mix emotions what i am trying to say) All in all, it was really great! I'm so much delighted now that my dreams came true. I can start my own now and prepare for my future. I don't know what and where it takes but I trust and believe God that by His will I have better and succesful future.

Btw, I'll try to post my photos here..i'm still editing and waiting for the other photos from my friends and classmates :-) Have a great weekend guyz ^_~

GOD'S TEACHING TO ME AND TO YOU

Good day! Here I am again. I just wanna share my blessing. I woke up this morning with so much questions to myself and I paused for awhile then I prayed to God. I believe and trust God in everything I do but this time I made a mistake and He made me realized that making a decision alone without consulting it to Him is a big blunder. All of us have it's own strenghts and weaknesses. I asked Him to help me what should I do and show me his answer by reading the Purpose Driven Life Book. It's an awesome experienced, He didn't dissapoint me! :) His message to me in Seeing Life From God's View:

It says there that, "Life on earth is test. Character is both developed and revealed by tests, and all of life is a test. You are always being tested. God constantly watches your response to people, problems, success, conflict, illness, dissapointment, and even the weather. We don't know all the tests God will give you, but we can predict some of them, based on the Bible. You will be tested by major changes, delayed promises, impossible problems, unanswered prayers, undeserved criticism, and even senseless tragedies. A very important test is how you act when you can't feel God's presence in your life. Sometimes God intentionally draws back, and we don't sense his closeness (The Bible says, God withdrew you in order to test you and to see what was really in your heart.) When you understand that life is a test, you realize that nothing is insignificant in your life. Every day is an important day, and every second is a growth opportunity to deepen your character, to demonstrate love, or to depend on God. The good news is that God wants you to pass the tests of life, so he never allows the tests you face to be greater than the grace He gives you to handle them."

By this quote, He gave me some insights how to survive and pass the tests. It's very cleared to me that in every problems we have, it helps us to deepen and mold our character on how we dwell to it. I am so delighted and thankful that God cares and loves me. Always talk to God in every second, minute, and hour of your life. That's the secret to have a meaningful life ^_^
