I remember once seeing an amusing cartoon. It featured five feminine heads, all looking one way and all with their mouths open. The first head was small and the mouth proportioned to the rest of the features; the next was rather larger, with a much wider mouth; the third was larger still, and so on. This picture portrayed in a capital way what often happens in small towns when some trifling incident in passing from one mouth to another is magnified by the gossips 'till it attains the proportions of quiet an important event; and thus, a "mountain is made out of a molehill."
Other seek to excuse themselves by asserting that they were not the first to discover these failings, but mentioned them only because they had heard of them from others. And yet they imagine there is no great harm in repeating what they have heard to those who were ignorant of it.
God forbids us to talk about the faults of others. Remember the Golden Rule: "Do not do to others what you would not like if it were done to yourself." In conclusion, we will listen to those who say: "You are quite right. I am aware that I ought not to talk about my neighbor's faults, I will never grow weary of renewing the resolution not to utter one simple uncharitable word about my neighbor. And if sometimes I speak unkindly, I ust not excuse myself by saying there is no great harm in it."
** The wise man will seek his own faults to ammend;The fool to his neighbor's alone will attend.**

THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN A HUNGRY WORLD
I am aware that the countries of the world are passing through a critical period of history. There is an uneasiness in this generation when old symbols and ways of life lose their meaning. New symbols and new ways of life must be developed to take the place of values that have become obsolete. We cannot deny that there is general disorientation in the new generation. There must be urgent solutions to the pressing problems of human destiny. The dramatic situation imposes on present and coming generations the duty of carrying out a struggle against universal hunge; that we can break the vicious circle of low productivity and help raise the economic patterns of areas that used to be unproductive.Can this task be accomplished? Or is it impossible to increase world food production fast enough to take care of the needs of population in its rapid expansion? Those weak of heart feel alarmed in the fact that everyday, the world has 60,000 additional mouths to feed (based on my research in the net). They forgot that for every mouth that cries for food there are two arms to produce. They also forgot that the world has sufficient soil resources to multiply present food production several times.
On all sides, I see men of goodwill who give themselves to the big task of creating a better understanding in the world. Outstanding among these are the youth who are always more interested in giving than in receiving, in living than in making money. It is clear that the action of these men of goodwill depend to a large extent on the support they meet in the conscience of the people. Clarification should be made to the causes of the present social unrest so that something may be done to eliminate it. It is not enough to attempt to feed, clothe, and house the underdeveloped populations of the world. It must be explained to them why they live in a regime of hunger and misery, and they must do to help.
As a result of poverty and economic misery, two-thirds of the population of the world still live in a climate of economic starvation (based on the net again). This is the cause of the inferiority of the poorer groups to the rich, healthy and well-fed groups. It is necessary to re-establish an economic balance in the world and fill the great gap between the well-developed and the underdeveloped countries of the world. The same factor is critical for a baby's survivalin the world of the poor and the world of the rich. The struggle against hunger and the expected victory over universal hunger should provide a reason for mobilizing the will of the youth organizations thruoghout the world. Only the young masters of the world with their fresh strong hands and the will to act can free this old world from from hunger and misery.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY & CONCERT
It happened recently lang, i watched the concert of Alicia Keys live in Manila with my friend. I was surprised when my sister gave me two green passes for the concert. I was thinking who will I suppose to treat, and then I remembered my elementary friend. I called her but she wasn't able to accompany me because of her work. Then, I said to my sister "wag nlang kc wala nman ako ksama" but she insisted me to contact my friends. I tried to call and text bhezy if she's available on that day. Yes, indeed! We went together at SMX in Mall of Asia, the place where the concert happened. We got there at 7 p.m (so excited). We ate first before we go to the said venue. And this is it! When we were walking to the venue we had seen people lined up going to the entrance. When we reached to the security guards to check our bags, I forgot that I have food in my bag, I have no choice but to leave it outside and gave it to the guards. They didn't noticed my digicam because i kept it to my make-up kit..nice strategy, isn’t it? ;) The concert didn't start at exactly 8 p.m maybe it's because Alicia Keys was not yet there. We're so bored waiting for her to perform but thanks to my "crush" because he was also there, sitting in the same row where we were seated ;) The first performer was Luke Mejares, he sang his song which is not familiar to me. Next is Duncan Ramos, one member of the Southborder band before. After that performance, we waited again to the next performer.
It was 9:30 p.m when Alicia performed. She's very awesome, good singer, and pretty. I really love her songs even though I didn't know some of it. I didn't hear the song "I'm Officially Missing You" it's one of my favorite pa nman. I preferred to stand on the chair rather than to sit so that, I could easily take a nice shot and videos. We really enjoyed the concert. She performed well even her bands. The audience kept on shouting "we love you alicia", so nice, right? They were acting like a little children whom wants to hug and kiss their mom and dad ;) Even if the venue was not in the open field the SMX was good nman for their alternative place. The exciting performance of her was that when she sang acapella song and without the background music she perfectly hit the high notes. The last song that she sang was "No one" which is the popular song here in the Philippines. The viewers were singing together while waving their hands. After that song, i thought she will sing again but it's the end na pla. They were requesting for another song, kept on shouting "one more...one more...one more" but no alicia came out to the stage. Unfortunately, only what they did was left on the place and saying "sayang, sana she sing one more song pa". It was 11 p.m when it ends. It was a very successful concert and extremely performance. I hope she comes back for the next time she will do a concert ;)

GLOBAL WARMING
When sunlight reaches Earth's surface some is absorbed and warms the earth and most of the rest is radiated back to the atmosphere at a longer wavelength than the sun light. Some of these longer wavelengths are absorbed by greenhouse gases in the atmosphere before they are lost to space. The absorption of this longwave radiant energy warms the atmosphere. These greenhouse gases act like a mirror and reflect back to the Earth some of the heat energy which would otherwise be lost to space. The reflecting back of heat energy by the atmosphere is called the "greenhouse effect".
The major natural greenhouse gases are water vapor, which causes about 36-70% of the greenhouse effect on Earth (not including clouds); carbon dioxide CO2, which causes 9-26%; methane, which causes 4-9%, and ozone, which causes 3-7%. It is not possible to state that a certain gas causes a certain percentage of the greenhouse effect, because the influences of the various gases are not additive. Other greenhouse gases include, but are not limited to, nitrous oxide, sulfur hexafluoride, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons and chlorofluorocarbons.
Here is the video on how the Global Warming affects on Earth.
In my own opinion, if you are concern to our mother nature you should start it with yourself. What I mean is you must know the word “discipline” and apply it to yourself. If people have this word to theirselves there’s no doubt that they could influence others to have the unity and care to our nature. Are you willing to become one of the Green Consumers?? Here are some scene setting on Green Marketing and a potential solution to be part on the green side:
- Most people are quite “nice” and not antisocial or apathetic;
- Being green is not just for middle class, liberal, educated people – it’s everyone’s issue;
- The challenge is to make doing green stuff part of normal life;
- It’s not all up to governments, corporations and NGOs- we are all share the responsibility;
- Green marketing can be funky, edgy, intriguing, playful, impactful and creative;
- It doesn’t even have to look “green” (worthy, hippy, natural, etc.)
Potential solution to be part on the green side: creative way to engage people , greener lifestyle, and corporate responsibility with companies.
